Installation Video Tutorial
Note: Before removing the instrument panel, be sure to first adjust the winter tire warning and speed limit warning to their maximum settings, then disable these two functions in the multifunction speed limit menu. The operation tutorial is as follows:
Note: For some high-end Touareg models with mechanical instrument clusters, there is an additional small circuit board on the back of the small screen. It must be secured to the main board as shown in the diagram below before installing it into the LCD instrument panel. Failure to install this small board may result in inaccurate fuel level readings and trigger fault warnings on the dashboard.
LCD Instrument Cluster Installation Tutorial:
The instrument has two USB cables: one is a limited-upgrade USB port, and the other is a limited-screen-mirroring USB port, both located inside the storage compartment on the lower left side of the steering wheel.
After installing the PQ instrument and filling the tank with fuel, if the needle does not reach the full mark, you need to set the fuel tank capacity:
After filling the tank, drive a few hundred meters, then go to Driving Data → Refillable Amount. Here, you will see the remaining fuel quantity. Enter this value in: Settings → Configuration Calibration → Fuel Tank Capacity.
Once set, the Refillable Amount should display 0, and the fuel gauge will then show a full tank.
Note: In the PQ platform settings, the Physical Light option must remain disabled; otherwise, the turn signals may not display.
If it has been enabled, follow the steps in the video below to resolve the issue.
Vehicle Model: If the car model displayed does not match the actual vehicle, it can be changed.
Go to Settings → Vehicle Selection, choose the correct model, then turn off the engine and lock the car for a few minutes.
