Wireless Carplay and Android Auto connectivity:
1.Make sure the Android Bluetooth is select.
To connect the “Zlink” via wireless, it need to pair the Bluetooth of the android screen, so select the Android Bluetooth in the factory setting menu.
2.Turn on “Bluetooth” and “WiFi” in your phone
When you use the Apple Carplay, keep the “Bluetooth” and “WiFi” is “ON”
3, Match the phone with Android Bluetooth
(1)If you can’t pair Bluetooth, please delete other devices Bluetooth records and then try to pair it again.
(2)After Bluetooth pairing, it will automatically switch to Carplay or Android Auto.If Bluetooth pairing is unsuccessful, it will not switch to Apple Carplay or Android Auto.It will show "Connecting" in the menu and will not be able to enter the Carplay or Android Auto menu.If Bluetooth pairing is unsuccessful, it will not switch to Apple Carplay or Android Auto.It will show "Connecting" in the menu and will not be able to enter the Carplay or Android Auto menu.
Note: When using Carplay or Android Auto, please do not connect your phone to other Bluetooth devices (e.g. original car Bluetooth or Bluetooth watch, etc.).
1. Apple carplay and Android Auto are based on Bluetooth technology and cannot be use Bluetooth at the same time. To use Apple carplay or Android Auto, your phone must be disconnected from other Bluetooth devices. Make sure your phone can only connect to Carplay or Android Auto.
2. After successfully connecting to Carplay or Android Auto, the Android Bluetooth interface will show "Close" and the WIFI on Android screen will be off, which is normal because Carplay and Android Auto occupy the Bluetooth and WIFI channels.
3. After successfully connecting to Carplay or Android Auto, neither the Android screen WIFI nor the Apple phone WIFI can be connected to other networks, or it will cause Carplay and Android Auto to function abnormally.
If your phone is connected to Carplay or Android Auto and is also connected to your car's stock Bluetooth or Bluetooth watch, you may have a "no sound" issue or have difficulty connecting.
You can turn off the OEM Bluetooth in factory car menu, make it "deactivated"
Or delete the other Bluetooth names in your phone via "Forget this device" and keep only the Bluetooth for your Android screen.
4.There are two ways to turn off wireless CarPlay or wireless Android Auto connectivity:
4.1.Turn off the WIFI switch on your cell phone.
4.2.Go to Zlink APP settings and turn off background connection.
Wired Carplay Connection:
1.Use the original iPhone cable to connect to the USB1 port on your Android machine and the other end to your iPhone.
2.The pop-up dialog box selects: Allow, the machine will automatically enter the Carplay interface
Note: After connecting the wired Carplay, the other set of USB of the machine will be disconnected, unplug the wired Carplay for the USB to work.
