Many models of Mercedes-Benz, BMW, Audi, etc. have built-in navigation functions, so the original car will have a GPS antenna. However, many customers want to use the original car GPS antenna after installing the KOASON Android screen, which saves the time of installing the Android GPS antenna.
However, the original car GPS antenna has a 5V voltage, and the GPS port voltage of the KOASON Android screen is 3.3V. Directly using the original car GPS antenna to connect to the Android screen will cause the Android screen to work abnormally. So we made a GPS separator cable to solve this problem.
The following is the link to the KOASON GPS separator cable:
The KOASON GPS separator cable has 3 heads, and the male head is directly plugged into the original car GPS antenna.
The other two ends are female heads. The female head with the component is connected to the GPS port of the KOASON Android screen, and the other female head is connected to the GPS port of the original car CD host.
The following is the wiring diagram:
It should be noted that only the GPS interface is a separate FAKRA head can use the GPS splitter cable. However, the GPS and Bluetooth interfaces of some CD hosts are connected together, and their two antenna heads are also connected together. In this case, the GPS splitter cable cannot be used.
The following CD hosts have a separate FAKRA head for the GPS interface, so the GPS splitter cable can be used:
The following CD host GPS port and Bluetooth port are connected together and cannot use the GPS splitter cable:
Note: In addition to KOASON's Android screens, other brands of screens can also use the GPS splitter cable as long as the GPS interface is a FAKRA head.
