How to solve the problem of NO SIGNAL and no sound on KOASON 2017 BMW 1 Series NBT Android screen.

One of our customers has a BMW 2017 1 Series NBT system. He purchased a KOASON 10.25-inch Android screen with wireless CARPLAY and Android AUTO functions. He encountered some problems during the installation process and consulted us.

 

Q:

Hi

 

I have installed the 10.25 screen in my BMW 2017 series 1. 
 
There was no finer cable and the Car Protocol is set to NBT and I have tried all the different screen settings.
 
The android side works fine but the screen says no signal whatever setting I put. Also no sound.
 
I have connected it all up as it shows and it comes on when I enter the car.
 
Please can you suggest anything else.

Also, does your car have optical fiber? If it does, you need to switch to optical fiber.  Click for details

No optical fiber

A:

The power cord on the back of the original car's CD console was not plugged in properly and the buckle was not fastened.

Q:

Hi, open the buckle on the male connector of the Android power cord about 45 degrees, then insert it into the original CD host, and then tighten the buckle. After installation, there is no distance between the buckle of the power cord and the socket of the CD host, as shown in the figure below：

Yes that was I very tight fit but in now

Can the original interface be displayed now?

Q:

The screen is not powered on now I will disconnect the leads and see if one worked loose.

A:

OK, check everything first. Make sure the original interface can be displayed normally, the Android screen has sound, and the original car knob can work normally. After confirming these, put the Android screen and the original CD player back.

Q:

Still no signal

How did the original display appear again?

Q:

I changed the vehicle display setting to NBT CIC E60

It then appeared the NBT F48 10.25 was lined so tried the next one down

Select the "AUX front" state, then return to the Android interface to play music and see if there is any sound.

Does BMW iDrive work both on Android and in original state?

Yes the knob works

There is an option called "Automatically switch AUX" in the settings of the Android screen, you can check it.   Click for details
After selecting it, every time you return to the Android system, it will automatically switch to the Android sound, so you don't have to select "AUX front" every time.

It will be more convenient to use.
