How to copy a map file to KOASON Android Display
10.31.2023 | Koason |

Some customers purchased KOASON Android screen with wireless CARPLAY and Android AUTO function, and restored the Android screen to factory settings when using it, which will lead to the deletion of many applications pre-installed on the Android screen and have to be reinstalled.
Android screen comes with “APKinstaller” in which some commonly used applications can be installed.
Others need to enter the Google Play Store to download and install.

Some navigation apps come with map data, and the files are quite large, so you need to download them from your computer and then copy them to a USB flash drive, and then copy the files to the Android screen via the USB cable plugged into the Android screen to install them.

Here is an example of how to copy IGO maps to an Android screen using a USB flash drive.

1.After downloading the map data from your computer, unzip the .ZIP file and copy the “IGO folder” to the root directory of your USB flash drive.

2. Insert the USB flash drive into the USB cable of the Android screen, and then enter the “ESuper File”, copy the IGO file to the system disk.
